How to Draw A Hibiscus

Step 1

This is the first step of our tutorial on drawing a hibiscus, and we will start by drawing two petals for the flower. There is a lot of black in the center of the flower, with the lines of the petals extending into the petal.

With that in mind, you can draw the rounded petals that connect to this central shape. The petals have somewhat uneven edges for that extra detail. Now that you’ve removed these two petals and the details of their bold lines, you can move on to Step 2, where we’ll build more on top of the flower.

Step 2

In this second part of your hibiscus design, we will add another petal to the flower and the stamen that protrudes from the center of the flower. The stamen is a thin stalk that contains pollen and can be drawn with two curved lines that pass close together.

So you can draw many small round shapes for the pollen mentioned above at the end. Once you’ve removed that stamen, you can place another large petal on the hibiscus. This petal looks like the one you drew earlier and has the same heavy line detail.

Step 3

In this step of our how-to draw a hibiscus guide, we will add another petal to your flower. You have well drawn these petals in the last few steps, and now you only have to draw one for the flower.

This will be on the top right side of the flower, and once it’s removed, we have to add one more, so let’s move on!

Step 4

Before we add the final details to your hibiscus, we need to add one more petal. This petal fills the space near the bottom of the flower you left in the previous step and has the same line and detail as the earlier parts.

So, at the final stage, we’re going to finish with the final points and elements.
