Clint Eastwood is the total package for the film industry. He has directed, produced, and starred in his own films. If you think that’s the end of it, it’s not because his directional venture is even Oscar-ready. He is one of only two people to be nominated for Best Actor and Best Director for the same films as Unforgiven and Million Dollar Baby. His directorial debut was Play misty for me (1971), after which he directed 36 films. He is currently working on his The Mule (2019) as director and actor with Bradley Cooper.

With David Webb Peoples, he created some of the best and unforgettable characters and moments. Unforgiven is his one of the best films directed by Clint Eastwood.

How much impact can war have on soldiers when they return to civilian life? It’s an American Sniper based on the life of Chris Kyle, the deadliest shooter in the US military. Directed by Clint Eastwood, it gets to the heart of a soldier who can’t adjust to civilian life and is haunted by all the killing and suffering of war. The film stars Bradley Cooper as Chris Kyle and Sienna Miller as Kyle’s wife, Taya.
3. Million Dollar Baby
This was his second time Eastwood won another Academy Award in the same categories (Best Picture and Best Director) that he won for Unforgiven. A Million His Dollar Baby is another of C. Eastwood’s masterpieces, a pure and poignant tale of an aging boxing his trainer and his boxer an underdog amateur aspiring pro. The film includes knockout performances from Clint Eastwood, Hilary Swank, Morgan Freeman, and Clint Eastwood’s direction. The film won four Academy Awards for Best Picture and Best Director for C. Eastwood, Best Actress for Hilary Swank, and Best Supporting Actor for Morgan Freeman.

The film follows the life of lonely retired auto worker and Korean War veteran Walt Kowalski.It reminded me of his line, “Get off my lawn.” Male, aged 78, played this character as an action hero. Gran Torino was a critical and commercial success for Clint Eastwood and is one of his best films he has directed.
6. Mystic River
Million Dollar Just a year before his Baby success, he directed and produced his seven-Oscar-nominated Mystic His River (2003), but Sean he was Penn’s lead actor. Awards and Tim Robbins won in two categories for Best Supporting Actor. Clint Eastwood was nominated for Best Director but lost to The Lord of the Rings: The Return. Mystic River was very well received by both audiences and critics, mainly due to the performances of the main cast and Clint’s Eastwood rendition. Mystic River was an intense thriller his drama with great performances from its lead cast and top-notch direction from his C. Eastwood.
